Dustin earned his B.S. in Hotel & Restaurant Management at Niagara University, not far from the Finger Lakes region where he was born and raised. He began his career with Aramark by managing operations for the Olympic Village in Athens in 2004 and built on that role as senior operations manager for the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Beijing in 2008. He has also managed various aspects of food and beverage operations at Major League Baseball’s Turner Field, New Orleans Convention Center and Emerald Coast Convention Center, GlaxoSmithKline and Palm Beach County Convention Center, and served as Aramark’s resident district manager for the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where he oversaw a dining operation that served a student population of 29,000.
Returning with his wife Marissa and their daughter Olivia to Central New York, Dustin is currently the Executive Director of Cornell Dining, where he and his team of approximately 1200 front line associates and just over 50 managers serve the campus of Cornell University. In his second role in the higher education world, Dustin has honed in on the student experience through a focus on food insecurity and sustainability—two issues critical to modern campus life. In applying a philosophy based on service to others, he works to inspire transformation — both for the student body and for the workplace culture of those he serves as a leader.
