Perry Miele is President of Nestlé Professional. He leads a world-class team of foodservice professionals including executive chefs, direct sales, marketing, product development, technical & manufacturing, supply chain and all of the supporting teams who share the Nestlé commitment to excellence. Perry and his team supply branded & custom innovative forward food & beverage solutions that are creative, customized and commercially viable with a focus on helping operators win.
Perry’s extensive experience in the foodservice industry and passion for winning drive his leadership at Nestlé Professional. He spent a dozen years with the Intercontinental Hotels – Crowne Plaza Hotel Group working in senior food & beverage positions, including general manager and director of operations. In 1994, Perry joined the Nestlé Foodservice Canadian headquarters in Toronto, Canada. He spent the next 25 years in senior Nestlé positions in Canada, France, Switzerland and USA.
At the Nestlé world headquarters in Vevey, Switzerland Perry held numerous key senior positions including, Head of Global Customer Business Development, Project Lead for the Global Foodservice Strategy, Head of Global Food, and Head of Global Beverages, before transitioning to North America in 2010.
Perry is a dynamic and passionate member of the foodservice community and is proud to lead Nestlé Professional in their sponsorships / partnerships with the Women’s Foodservice Forum (WFF), American Culinary Federation (ACF), National Restaurant Association and Education Foundation (NRAEF) – ProStart, Johnson & Wales and the Culinary Institute of America (CIA).
Perry currently holds the positions of Chairman, for the International Foodservice Manufacturers Association (IFMA), and Executive Board of Director and Chair of Business Strategy for the National Restaurant Association Board of Directors. He is also a founding member of the Global Foodservice Hospitality Exchange.
