Robert Holden is the Associate Vice President for Auxiliary Services at the University of Georgia (UGA) and President of the National Association of College & University Food Services (NACUFS). He has been professionally involved in the education field for 35 years, holding a variety of executive and senior management positions at UGA, the University of California San Diego, the University of Alaska, and the second largest public school district in Alaska.
As a Certified Auxiliary Services Professional (CASP), Robert is skilled in all aspects of higher education leadership, management, and administration, including dining, contract management, customer service, inventory management, loss prevention, contract negotiation, policy analysis, problem-solving, project management, and retail operations.
Outside of his work in education, he works with non-profit organizations, consulting with boards and working with the local community. He has a passion for food and has worked with Campuses, Foodbanks, Soup kitchens and other organization to help further their mission and vision. Robert holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree from the University of Alaska, and a BA (Justice) from the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
