Cutthroat Kitchen Competition
Celebrity Chef Jet Tila is back and bringing Cutthroat Kitchen with him. 6 teams will vie for the championship belt in a one-day winner take all event. Survive the sabotages and out chef your competitors, and you will walk away $500 richer.
Making a thunderous comeback to the 31st Annual Chef Culinary Conference is the ultimate fan-favorite: Cutthroat Kitchen – Chef Conference Edition!
Brace yourselves, because celebrity chef and food-fight ringmaster Jet Tila is back to unleash the chaos and crown the champion of culinary cunning!
This year, it’s one round, winner-takes-all — no second chances, no mercy.
Six fearless teams of two will battle it out in a high-stakes kitchen arena where sabotage isn’t just expected… it’s encouraged.
Armed with $1,000 in UMass Chef Dollars, each team must navigate a gauntlet of devious curveballs, bidding for the chance to unleash culinary calamities on their opponents — or, if they’re feeling brave, to save themselves from disaster. But spend too freely and you might find yourself broke when you need protection the most. Choose wisely, chefs!
Each match will be themed — think “The Best Clam Chowder…With a Chainsaw Instead of a Knife” (we’re kidding… mostly). Using only the ingredients and equipment scavenged in a frantic 90-second dash through the Cutthroat Pantry, competitors must cook, create, and conquer — all while dodging (or dishing out) the most diabolical sabotages imaginable.
Only the most strategic, adaptable, and slightly mischievous chefs will survive the sabotage storm to claim ultimate bragging rights!
Who will rise? Who will fall? And who will be chopped, dropped, or out-saboted?
There’s only one way to find out — let the Cutthroat Games begin!
There will be 4 teams of 2 chefs who will have 40 minutes to complete 4 dishes (3 for the judges and 1 display plate).
The winning team will receive a championship belt, $500 and bragging rights for the year.
